My faith has been encouraged by people wanting to pray with me. The prayer group is starting out small, but tonight we had our largest group yet, with 8 people. I started this group because, the Holy Spirit has been convicting me to pray more.
Followers of Jesus need to pray and read the bible everyday. I have made the excuse that I don't have time, or have just been lazy. If something is important, then you will make time for it. I have a better day when I begin it with prayer. There are still challenges and stressful situations, but I have Jesus to give me strength.
Prayer is not just asking for things, although there are certainly good things to ask for. Prayer is about building relationship with the creator. It's submitting to God's will and not my own. Prayer is still something I am trying to figure out.
God wants to use His people to touch the world in a powerful way, but we need to pray and find out what God wants us to do. How are we going to know if we don't pray?

Hey, you are so right. Pray even when you don't have anything to ask God for. Just pray for the heck of it. Because we want to seek God and be near him.
Wish I could join in the prayer group at the Mansion.
But some friends here in Korea are gonna start a weekly gathering of prayer soon, too.
